GC Cloud Strategy 2024

In November 2023, the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat (TBS) informed the Government of Canada (GC) departments and agencies about new direction in the GC Cloud Strategy 2024.

This new direction extends to other users of GC cloud services, including other levels of government and academia. Shared Services Canada (SSC) will use this space as the central source of information for those audiences about our role in operationalizing these changes. We will post more information on an ongoing basis as new answers become available.

The Framework Agreements (FA) continue to operate throughout the gradual implementation of the new strategy. We are currently assessing the implications for these users of GC cloud services and will share this information once additional details emerge.
