Doing Business with Us
By consolidating IT-infrastructure services and leveraging the Government of Canada's buying power, Shared Services Canada aims to reduce costs across the government's departments and agencies.
Collaboration
We collaborate with other government departments to identify enterprise-wide needs, as well as the best possible cost-efficient options. Where it makes sense to do so, we draw on private-sector experience and pursue public-private partnerships.
We aim to benefit from Canada's diverse and innovative supplier community. We ensure that our ongoing procurement activities are open, fair and transparent and that they are driven by broader and longer-term enterprise-wide objectives.
For information on the Procurement Process at SSC, please contact the Enterprise IT Procurement.
We work with leading technology innovators to discuss our IT transformation vision and ways the private sector can help build a lower-cost, more effective technology platform for the Government of Canada.
Helping You Do Business with the Government of Canada
The Build in Canada Innovation Program (BCIP) was created by the Government of Canada to help kickstart businesses and get their innovative products and services from the lab to the marketplace.
Professional Standards of Conduct
Shared Services Canada (SSC) is committed to creating a culture that embraces strong values and ethics at every level. In a service delivery business such as ours, the trust we build with our partners, clients, contractors and vendors is one of SSC’s most valuable assets. Collectively, the Values and Ethics Code for the Public Sector, SSC's Organizational Code, SSC’s Directive on Ethical Behaviour and related standards are our North Star, guiding us when making decisions and in resolving issues.
The Lobbyists' Code of Conduct specifies the principles, including professional and ethical standards, by which lobbyists must conduct themselves in their interactions with government employees. This Code complements the above-mentioned departmental guidance documents and, together, they contribute to public confidence in the integrity of government decision making.
Members of the public can be confident that SSC adheres to these professional standards of conduct in its dealings with partners and stakeholders.
