Canada Revenue Agency Board of Management

The Canada Revenue Agency is committed to being a world-class tax and benefit administration. The Board of Management supports this commitment and the Agency’s transformation, to further improve, accelerate, and excel, especially in the areas of service, people, financial resources, integrity and security, and innovation. The Board is also responsible for developing the Agency’s Corporate Business Plan which provides an overview of the CRA’s objectives, strategies, performance expectations and financial projections.

Unlike the boards of Crown corporations, the Board is not involved in all the business activities of the CRA. In particular, the CRA Board has no authority in the administration and enforcement of legislation, which includes the Income Tax Act and the Excise Tax Act, for which the CRA remains fully accountable to the Minister of National Revenue.

We are committed to serving Canadians as valued clients, and we will ensure that the Canada Revenue Agency implements secure leading-edge services to meet their needs.
