Parole Board of Canada Accessibility Feedback Process
The Parole Board of Canada (PBC or the Board) has developed an Accessibility Plan, outlining how the Board will improve accessibility over the next three years. This plan, developed in consultation with people with disabilities, identifies barriers, and goals to remove and prevent them under the seven priority areas identified in the Accessible Canada Act.
Feedback
The PBC welcomes feedback from members of the public, partners, and stakeholders, as well as employees and Board members about the implementation of this plan and about barriers when interacting with the Board. Feedback will help identify, remove, and prevent barriers in the Board’s policies, programs, practices, services, and physical spaces. Feedback can be positive, negative, general, specific, lengthy, or brief. Providing as much detail as possible will help the Board understand and address the feedback received. The PBC will use this information to adjust and improve current and future commitments and goals centered around removing and preventing barriers.
NOTE: Feedback can be provided anonymously. Anyone who chooses to provide contact information will receive an acknowledgement.
All feedback received will be reviewed and reported in the PBC’s annual progress reports, which will be available on the PBC's Accessibility web page. The reports will include information on how the Board considered the feedback and addressed it. Contact information provided with any feedback will be removed when the feedback is tracked and reported in the Board’s annual progress reports to ensure protection of privacy.
The PBC’s Designated Official for Accessibility is responsible for receiving, collecting and tracking the feedback. The feedback will be shared with the PBC’s steering committee for accessibility which will assess and report back to the Designated Official for Accessibility on how the PBC will consider and action the feedback, if required.
For all questions, comments or suggestions about accessibility at the Board or about the Accessibility Plan, contact the PBC through the website, by email, mail or telephone as detailed below.
Feedback can be sent by email to Accessibility.Accessibilite@pbc-clcc.gc.ca. Senders will automatically receive a confirmation that the PBC received the feedback.
Emails to the PBC may not exceed to the following sizes:
- 10 MB per email for all external email;
- 20 MB per email for all internal PBC email.
If feedback exceeds this limit, please send it via separate emails.
Messages can include audio recordings, videos, photos, links, documents, or other attachments as necessary.
