Who can apply: Youth-serving organizations with a national reach

What this program offers: Canada Service Corps (CSC) is a contributions program which provides funding to National and Regional organizations to recruit youth volunteers and help improve the social, economic, and environmental well-being of communities through local action. CSC Service Placements National Stream aims to fund youth-serving organizations with a national reach to develop and deliver full-time and flexible volunteer service placements across Canada for youth participants including youth from Indigenous populations, under-served populations or both. CSC also provides funding to youth-serving organizations with a local and regional reach under the Service Placements Regional Stream, and to organizations that support youth-led projects under the Micro-grants Stream.

Information sessions

We’ll hold information sessions to give an overview of this application process.  The sessions will be accessible and include:

  • American Sign Language (ASL),
  • Langue des signes québécoise (LSQ) and
  • Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART).

The information sessions will cover the Micro-grants, Service Placements National and Service Placements Regional streams and will take place on the following dates:

  • October 24, 2023 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, Eastern Time (French and langue des signes québécoise (LSQ))
  • October 24, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Eastern Time (English and American Sign Language (ALS))
  • October 25, 2023 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, Eastern Time (French and langue des signes québécoise (LSQ))
  • October 25, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Eastern Time (English and American Sign Language (ALS))
  • November 21, 2023 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, Eastern Time (French and langue des signes québécoise (LSQ))
  • November 21, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Eastern Time (English and American Sign Language (ALS))
  • November 22, 2023 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, Eastern Time (French and langue des signes québécoise (LSQ))
  • November 22, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Eastern Time (English and American Sign Language (ALS))

You can register to take part online or by teleconference by sending an email to NC-DGOP-POB-CSC-SJC-GD@servicecanada.gc.ca. In your email, please specify the following information for each session you’d like to attend:

  • the date
  • your preferred language (English or French)
  • any accessibility requirements

Please send us your request by 12:00 pm (noon), Eastern Time, on the day before the session(s) you wish to attend. We’ll then send you the instructions on how to join.
